With slightly more than two minutes remaining in the first quarter of its regional opener Wednesday against Glenbrook North, host Barrington found itself on the short end of a 7-0 score.
The No. 7-seeded Broncos outscored the 10th-seeded visitors by 16 points in the remaining 26 minutes and advanced to Friday night's regional final with a 54-45 victory. The Broncos travel to St. Viator for a 7:30 p.m. tip in the Class AA Conant sectional.
