NEW YORK--(ENTERTAINMENT WIRE)--Feb. 8, 2001

Sam Phillips, whom Rolling Stone calls, "...a rarity, an artist who seduces and disturbs," has signed with Nonesuch Records. A singer/songwriter with a distinguished musical career spanning fifteen years, highlighted by a Grammy Award nomination and widespread critical acclaim, Phillips is set to release Fan Dance this Spring, marking her first all-new studio recording since the 1996 release Omnipop.
