Camels, oases, spices, markets, snake charmers, horse-drawn taxis, large cities, kasbahs, deserts, and snow-covered mountains are all found in Morocco. The town of Agadir on the Atlantic coast is a world-famous resort visited by tourists from Europe and elsewhere.
Four mountain ranges run through Morocco: the Rif, the Anti-Atlas, the Middle Atlas, and the High Atlas. The High Atlas mountains possess the highest peaks, which are snow-covered year-round. This contrasts with the Sahara Desert, which begins at the foot of the Atlas Mountains and extends all the way across northern Africa to Egypt.
