eLink Communications, a leading tenant-centric provider of broadband communications services, announced that it has signed a contract with Cummings Properties to wire 40 buildings in the Boston area, including the Cummings Center in Beverly, formerly known as "The Shoe."

The deal allows eLink to bring broadband and high-speed Internet access to nearly 1,300 tenants in more than 5 million square feet of area commercial real estate, and establish a firm footprint in the Boston market.
