MONTICELLO, AR -- Two months after shutting down its tufted rug business, the Burlington House Floor Accents division of Burlington Industries Inc. is negotiating with a management group to sell its Monticello, AR, facility where the tufted rugs were made and distributed.
Roger Miller, formerly the plant manager of the Monticello facility for the past two years, is currently trying to obtain financing to purchase it. The facility includes two manufacturing plants and one distribution center. The facility is the largest employer in the town of Monticello, Grogan said.
