Tour Schedule Announced at Smithsonian's National Museum
of Natural History Press Conference
Today the Smithsonian's National Museum of Natural History (NMNH) and Orkin Pest Control unveiled plans for a traveling insect exhibit and announced an insect education initiative lasting from March to November 2001.
The "Smithsonian O. Orkin Insect Safari," one of the most ambitious insect education efforts ever undertaken, will visit schools, museums and zoos nationwide to provide education about insects and their role in the environment.
