MARYLAND'S JOBLESS RATE REMAINED STABLE IN SEPTEMBER

BALTIMORE, Nov. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Maryland's estimated unemployment rate in September 1988 remained at 4.2 percent for the third consecutive month, according to statistics released today by the Maryland Department of Economic and Employment Development (DEED).

Last year at this time, the jobless rate for Maryland was slightly lower at 3.9 percent.
