Equinix, Inc. (Nasdaq:EQIX), creator and operator of neutral Internet Business Exchange(TM) (IBX(TM)) centers, today announced the expansion of its Chicago IBX center by nearly 100 percent, resulting in a 250 percent increase in customer capacity. The 68,000 square foot addition brings the center to 140,000 square feet -- one of the largest Internet hubs in the Chicago area.
