Pet portraits are big business for artist Cindy Perkins.
cindy perkins Perkins loves her pets. An energetic graduate of the Ringling School of Art and Design, Cindy had been painting her cars and dogs for years just for fun, in between producing large oil landscapes and still lifes. Her work frequently appears in exhibitions and is in the collections of celebrities such as Geraldo Rivera and Penn Jillette of Penn and Teller. But few of her paintings have inspired the passion her pet portraits do. When friends discovered her cache of pet paintings, they convinced her to capture their beloved animals on canvas.
