The Legion of Honor, France's oldest and most prestigious order honored Guy Peyrelongue, President and CEO of L'Oreal USA, for the second time. The Legion of Honor, which was created by Napoleon Bonaparte in 1802, is the highest national distinction presided over by the President of the Republic for outstanding service to France.
In a ceremony held at the French Consulate last evening, His Excellency, Mr. Francois Bujon de L'Estang, the French Ambassador officially promoted Mr. Peyrelongue from his previous rank of "Chevalier", to the rank of "Officier" in the Legion. The promotion pays ...
