Hosokawa Micron Ltd have brought out a new small scale conical mixer. Based on their well known Cyclomix production unit, the Cyclomix 5 is now available for mixing materials, batch mixing or for R and D applications before scale-up to full production capacity.
The makers tell us that the Cyclomix 5 unit is suitable for a wide range of processing - for cohesive powders, coating, granulating, flavouring and colouring.

...A teenager who drowned in a small lagoon while swimming with friends has been named by police. Nicholas Wetton, aged 17, of Coppull, near Chorley, Lancashire, got into difficulties at Wards Reservoir, known locally as the Blue Lagoon, in Rivington Road, Belmont.
