Freightliner Coronado
Freightliner Corp., Portland, Ore., has unveiled the Coronado, a premium, traditional, conventional tractor, aimed squarely at the owner operator market. It will be available with a 70-in. Raised Roof SleeperCab, the 70-in. Mid-Roof XT SleeperCab, and a Day Cab.
The Coronado's aluminum grille and 1,500-sq.-in. radiator allows for a maximum airflow resulting in optimized cooling for engines from 425 to 600 hp from Detroit Diesel, Caterpillar, and Cummins. A 500-hp DDC Series 60 is standard.
