Marcus Hotels and Resorts, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Marcus Corporation (NYSE: MCS), today announced that it has named Paul Upchurch as vice-president of operations. In his new position, Upchurch will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of eight properties in the company's hotel and resort portfolio, including the recently opened Hilton-Madison/Monona Terrace in Madison, Wis., and the Hotel Phillips currently being restored and slated to open in Kansas City, Mo., in fall 2001.
