COMMUNICATIONS AWARD GOES TO BOULDER EARTHQUAKE EXPERT
ARLINGTON, Va., Nov. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Waverly Person of Boulder, Colo., chief of the U.S. Geological Survey's National Earthquake Information Service in Golden, Colo., was honored today with a Special Achievement Award of the National Association of Government Communicators.
Del Malkie, immediate past president of the NAGC, presented a plaque to Person at an awards banquet closing the organization's annual conference here. Person was among four recipients of the awards.
