CITIZENS TO TESTIFY ON HAZARDOUS WASTES
NEW CITY, N.Y., Nov. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- State Assemblyman Maurice Hinchey and area civic groups will hold an investigative forum of more than eight hazardous waste sites, called "Toxic Valley," at 8 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 22, at the Clarkstown Town Hall.
Assemblyman Hinchey, chairman of the Assembly Environmental Conservation Committee, is seeking information on known or suspected toxic wastes and environmental problems from the citizens of West Nyack/Blauvelt and surrounding area.
