DataWave Systems Inc. announces that an Extraordinary General Meeting of shareholders will be held on April 6, 2001. At that meeting, shareholders will be asked to approve a resolution to consolidate the Company's share capital.
The Company's shareholders will be asked to give the Company's Board of Directors the authority to consolidate the Company's shares in a ratio not to exceed 10:1.
