"FAMILY TRADITION" BRAND TURKEYS REMOVED
FROM CERTAIN NORTHEASTERN STATES
SALT LAKE CITY, Nov. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Norbest Inc. announced today it has voluntarily ordered the removal of the "Family Tradition" brand fresh whole turkeys from its distribution system in certain northeastern states. The precautionary measure is due to the possibility of spoiled giblets or necks in a small number of turkeys.
The suspect turkeys were distributed to outlets in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut and Pittsburgh.
Norbest quality assurance personnel found the defect in only those turkeys ...
