BOWLING GREEN PARK CHRISTMAS TREE

Tomorrow, Nov. 23 at 8:30 a.m., the New York City Police Department will escort down Lower Broadway a 50 foot evergreen tree which is to be the centerpiece for the Third Annual Bowling Green Tree Lighting Ceremony at 5 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 8th. Bowling Green Park is located at the foot of Broadway opposite the U.S. Custom House.

The tree's progress will be broadcast live to Canada by Canadian Broadcasting Radio since it is a gift from the St. Anne Nackawic Pulp and Paper Co., New Brunswick, Canada, a subsidiary of Parson & Whitemore Enterprises of New York.
