Despite marked improvement in speech recognition technology, most clinicians are keeping their mouths shut. But eliminating a few hurdles might help. Less than three years after Albany (N.Y.) Medical Center purchased its first speech recognition system, the hospital's radiologists were ready to call the whole thing off.
