by Sonia Nichols, staff medical writer -- A new peptide antagonist demonstrates substantial anti-angiogenic effects on orthotopic brain tumors transplanted into mice.
The antagonist, called EMD 121974, is effective for reducing orthotopic brain tumors, but not heterotopic brain tumors, according to researchers from two institutions in the U.S.
