Mar. 9--Comcast Corp. has invited developers to submit proposals for more than 400,000 square feet of Center City office space for its corporate headquarters.
The request has sparked a competition involving at least eight sites, including the skyscraper that Liberty Property Trust, headed by Willard Rouse 3d, plans to build adjacent to Suburban Station between 17th and 18th streets on John F. Kennedy Boulevard.
It has also sparked renewed negotiations between the owners of the site of the former One Meridian Plaza, where a 38-story skyscraper burned in 1991, ...
