It worked in the movie, but the High Point Housing Authority is finding that doesn't always apply to affordable homes.

The agency has almost 30 new homes for sale but is having a difficult time finding qualified people to buy them. Only about 15 people of more than 300 on waiting lists are ready to purchase a home, agency officials say.

That has some questioning the promise to build and sell 100 homes each year for the next five years.
