SMALL FARM SEMINAR PRESENTED AT DOMINO'S FARMS
ANN ARBOR, Mich., Nov. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Dr. Booker T. Whatley, a retired Tuskegee Institute small-farm authority and horticulturist, will present a Small Farm Seminar at Domino's Farms, the world headquarters of Domino's Pizza, Inc. on Saturday, Dec. 10.
Whatley advocates the U-Pick farm concept which produces high-value, carefully chosen crops on a small plot of land, usually 10 to 200 acres. In June of 1987, Domino's Farms dedicated a Whatley Farm on their property. The farm is now located on Vorheis Road in Superior Township.
