Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC), Portland, Oregon, has acquired the assets of The Drop Dies and Forgings Co., Cleveland, in a deal valued at $23 million.
Drop Dies and Forgings, founded in 1919, produces specialty forgings from difficult-to-forge metals. The business manufactures both ferrous and nonferrous forgings, including aluminum, titanium and high-temperature nickel superalloy components. Its products serve the aerospace, transportation, chemical processing, semiconductor and nuclear industries.
