It was Trevor Stewart's turn.
The Elk River senior, who was more of a set-up man than a goal scorer all season, recorded a hat trick in a Class AA semifinal against Hastings on Friday as the Elks hung on for a 4-3 victory and a spot in tonight's championship game.
"It seems like we have a different hero every night," Elk River coach Tony Sarsland said.
The Elks (28-1-1) will face the winner of Greenway-Moorhead semifinal in the championship game at 7:05 tonight.
