One slate running for Buffalo Grove-Long Grove Elementary District 96 board seats is defending its campaign literature that, some say, exaggerates the cost of the district's administration center.
Campaign information put out by the slate made up of Doris Litwin and Susan Bauer, and board members Bob Pinzur and Ann Slaw, says Pinzur and Slaw "voted no to spending $600,000 toward refurbishing the now grandiose administration center."
District records and budgets, however, show the renovations of the Willard Administration Center at Ivy Hall Elementary School and rooms in Ivy Hall cost the district ...
