IDAHO STATE SUPREME COURT ORDERS RATE INCREASE FOR IDAHO POWER
BOISE, Idaho, Dec. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- The Idaho State Supreme Court on Friday ruled on Idaho Power's (NYSE: IDA) appeal of the Idaho Public Utilities' Commission's (IPUC) 1986 decision in the company's last general rate case. It appears that the court order will provide the company annual rate relief in the range of $25 to $30 million, or a 7 to 9 percent increase in Idaho retail rates. The issues under appeal in the case had a total value to the company of approximately $54 million.
