TRAVELERS REAL ESTATE TRUSTS SEEK POTENTIAL BUYERS
BOSTON, Dec. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- A special committee of the boards of trustees of The Travelers Real Estate Investment Trust (NASDAQ-NMS: TRATS) and Travelers Realty Income Investors (NASDAQ-NMS: TRIIS) has announced it is evaluating the proposed Keystone tender offer for the trusts.
The special committee has retained Smith Barney, Harris, Upham & Co., Inc., as investment banker and to assist it in seeking additional bids. The committee also has retained Hutchins & Wheeler as outside legal counsel to advise it on the process for considering all proposals.
