Case Report of a Presacral Mass Presenting With Obstructive Symptoms
REPORT OF A CASE
Clinical Presentation
The patient was a previously healthy, 78-year-old man who presented to his primary care physician with constipation. His past medical history was noncontributory. A digital rectal examination revealed a firm presacral nodule. The patient's prostate-specific antigen level was normal at 0.8 ng/mL. Magnetic resonance imaging demonstrated a well-circumscribed retrosigmoid nodule measuring 2.5 x 2.3 x 1.9 cm at the level of the S5-coccyx junction (Figure 1).
