WILL ACQUIRE DENTAL RESEARCH CORPORATION
ROCHESTER, N.Y., Dec. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Bausch & Lomb Incorporated (NYSE: BOL) announced today that its personal health care business is being expanded into the oral care market, and that the company has reached a definitive agreement to acquire Dental Research Corporation of Atlanta.
Dental Research Corporation (DRC) manufactures and markets the patented Interplak(R) line of devices used by consumers for the removal of dental plaque. Bausch & Lomb will pay $133 million in cash for DRC, and anticipates that sales of oral care products will ...
