It seems Hollywood mostly got it right in ''Erin Brockovich.''
A fascinating, balanced documentary, at 9 tonight on A&E, looks at the real Erin Brockovich, and one conclusion viewers will draw is that the movie did indeed accurately portray the real-life story of the feisty legal assistant's investigation into water contamination by Pacific Gas and Electric.
The lawsuit out of Hinkley, Calif., was depicted in the Oscar-nominated ''Erin Brockovich,'' in the case that resulted in a $350 million settlement to victims in what was portrayed as an environmental nightmare.
