"Angel of Death" Kristen Gilbert could become the first woman to face the death penalty in nearly a century in Massachusetts after she was found guilty yesterday of killing four disabled veterans.
After 12 days of deliberation, a federal jury agreed that the 33-year-old nurse was guilty of injecting fatal stimulant doses into patients at the Veterans Administration hospital in Northampton. Prosecutors said Gilbert did it to impress her VA security guard lover with her dramatic response to emergencies.
