Lockheed Martin Corp, a US aerospace company, has stated that it will be submitting an unsolicited proposal to the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regarding an upgrade of the USA's air traffic control system.
The proposal from Lockheed's Air Traffic Management unit will apparently recommend that the FAA conduct a cost/benefit analysis that compares Lockheed's proposal to a plan already established for the modernisation of the system. Lockheed has said that it thinks its proposal will save the FAA ...
