The California dairy industry and state and local officials today formally launched a new public education and involvement effort designed to enhance the relationship between local dairy families and their communities. The Community Alliance for Responsible Environmental Stewardship (CARES) has been formed to promote economic and environmental sustainability as the dairy industry continues to grow and create jobs throughout California.
