COLLEGE STATION -- Texas leads the nation in the number of young people participating in 4-H programs recently released enrollment figures show more than 1 million children from 5 to 19 participate in one 4-H program or another in the state.
Now, thanks to some planning and hard work by Texas Agricultural Extension Service county agents and district directors, children of military families can take part in 4-H too.
