Mar. 15--DENVER--Professional hockey is taking another look at Pueblo.
Two franchise developers for the Western Professional Hockey League told members of the Colorado State Fair governing board Wednesday that they hope to see a professional hockey team based at the Events Center in Pueblo by the fall season, which begins in October.
The yet-to-be-named team would be an expansion franchise for the league that was founded in 1995 with six teams and expanded to 13 teams in four states last year.
