U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia says U.S. society is doomed if judges don't come around to his way of interpreting the Constitution.
Scalia told about 475 people at the UW-Madison Law School on Thursday that most judges wrongly apply the Constitution to satisfy the majority mood of the moment and that such a judicial philosophy leads to no good.
"I don't think we will last another 210 (years) if this philosophy endures," Scalia said, during a more serious moment in a talk in which he often had his audience laughing.
