Having a baby ain't no teddy bears' picnic, as a survey published this week has proved.
Eight out of ten new mothers say the sleepless nights caused by having a baby threaten to wreck their relationships with their partners.
But while women are left tired and tearful by the sudden loss of sleep, most new fathers do not even wake up for their baby, still less get up in the night.
