Cadcentre, Wilmington, Del., the process plant engineering IT solutions company, has signed an agreement with the Process Industry Practices (PIP) Consortium for its piping and instrumentation diagram (P&ID) documentation criteria. The P&ID Practice will be incorporated into Cadcentre's ASPECT P&ID engineering schematics solution. With over 35 owner/operators and engineering construction members, the PIP consortium works to harmonize common industry practices for the member companies using internal standards for design, procurement and construction with the goal of reducing plant costs.
