MAYOR'S EMERGENCY RELIEF FUND ACCEPTS CHECK FROM CHRYSLER CORP.

DETROIT, Dec. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Mayor Coleman A. Young accpeted a $150,000 check for the Mayor's Emergency Relief Fund from Chrysler Corporation and immediately disbursed checks totaling $120,000 to 18 Detroit soup kitchens.

The check from Chrysler was delivered by Chrysler Vice Chairman Gerald Greenwald in ceremonies at the mayor's office.
