INTERNATIONAL UNION, AFL-CIO, TO SIGN MUTUAL ASSISTANCE PACT
/ADVANCE/ SAN JOSE, Calif., Dec. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Top officials of California's largest AFL-CIO affiliate, the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), and the California School Employees Association (CSEA), an independent union which represents approximately 70 percent of that state's "classified" and educational support school employees, have today signed a wide-ranging "mutual assistance pact" that ends raiding between the two sometimes-rivals.
