DEERFIELD, Ill., March 21 /PRNewswire/ --
Walgreens Health Initiatives (WHI) today announced it has acquired selected assets of the home care operations of St. Vincent Hospital in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Terms of the sale, which closed March 1, were not disclosed. This is WHI's first acquisition of a hospital-based home care operation.
As the sole hospital in the area, St. Vincent Hospital has provided quality respiratory services and equipment, as well as home medical supplies to patients in the community since 1987.
