NEW YORK, Dec. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- For the first time this New Year's Eve, Americans will be popping the corks on more bottles of Spanish "methode champenoise" sparkling wine (known as "Cava") than French Champagne, according to Wines of Spain, a division of the Embassy of Spain Commercial Office in New York.
