TORONTO, April 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Cineplex Odeon Corporation (NYSE: CPX) has completely renovated the former D.W. Griffith theatre and has renamed it the 59th Street East Cinema. The single-screen, 300- seat theatre, located at 239 East 59th Street in midtown Manhattan, will reopen to the public on Friday, April 21, 1989.
