In its 16th year of sponsorship of the Boston Marathon, John Hancock announced its elite team of international marathon runners today, including the men's and women's defending champions, Elijah Lagat and Catherine Ndereba of Kenya, and the Olympic Marathon gold medal winner and last year's second place finisher, Gezahegne Abera of Ethiopia.
