The Canadian Quebecor World Latin America acquired the Brazilian Grafica Melhoramentos, a company controlled by Companhia Melhoramentos from Sao Paulo. Quebecor took over 69% stake of the company and intends to increase capital reaching 75% of the shares. Melhoramentos will hold the remainder 25%. The acquisition is part of Quebecor" strategy of becoming the leader in the Latin American printing and publishing market.
