GOLDEN VALLEY HEALTH CENTER TO BECOME LOCALLY OWNED

GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn., Dec. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Golden Valley Health Center will become an independent, locally owned hospital, continuing its specialization in behavioral medicine, the hospital announced today.

Health One Corp., Minneapolis, and Comprehensive Care Corp. (CompCare), Irvine, Calif., joint venture owners of Golden Valley Health Center, have sold the hospital to a management group led by Steven R. Kamber, the chief executive officer of Golden Valley Health Center. The purchase price was $21 million.
