TUCSON -- Mike Hampton has helped give the Colorado Rockies a ``feel-good'' feeling about spring training.
And Friday morning, the Rockies brass felt real good.
Hampton, after all, was feeling good.
Slowed in the first week of camp by a slight left calf strain, Hampton threw batting practice for the first time, getting through 10 minutes without a problem.
And Hampton said he is right on schedule to make his regular-season Rockies debut as the Opening Day starter against St. Louis at Coors Field on April 2.
