The Western Branch boys soccer team didn't look like a candidate for the playoffs after losing eight of its first nine games last season.
But coach Ricky Bright urged his team to be patient.
``We lost in some tough ballgames last year,'' Bright said recently. ``Things kind of snowballed against us. But they got to the point where they knew what kind of teams we were playing.''
