NCAE HAS NOT AGREED TO SUPPORT A 6 PERCENT PAY RAISE
RALEIGH, N.C., April 28 /PRNewswire/ -- The North Carolina Association of Educators (NCAE) has not agreed to support a 6 percent pay raise for educators, announced NCAE President-Elect Julia Kron today.
"Published reports that we have accepted a 6 percent compromise were incorrect," Kron explained. "Our lobbyist, Mr. Paul Pulley, did say that we support some improvements that have been made in Senate Bill 2, which deals with the Career Development Program and performance pay.
